Create the branding around a fictional event based on two given prompts: a city (London) and a subject (Journalism).
Fleet Street Crawl is a pub crawl across the historic fleet street meant to honor the history of the publishing industry in London. The “Long Lunch”, is a Fleet Street tradition that existed since the beginning. Journalists would spend their lunch breaks in the pub of thier choice, usually staying hours longer than their break allowed. These pubs are still around today, with lots to learn about their history and significance. And sitting down for a pint or two wouldn’t hurt.
This branding project included a promotional poster, a bottle design created to hold a specialty ale made for the crawl, two types of lanyards for groups to distinguish themselves, and finally a social media campaign inspired by newspaper cartoons.
