Lucid Skin is a skincare brand meant to minimize your routine. The skincare industry pushes people to overconsume and produce waste in enormous amounts. “The USA creates 9 billion units of plastic packaging for cosmetic products” (businesswaste.co.uk). The goal of Lucid Skin is to cull this waste as much as possible. The 3 step routine kit comes with three bars: one to cleanse and exfoliate, one to moisturize, and one for UV protection.
The routine strives for sustainability through simplicity, eco-conciousness, and minimal impact. The box is meant to be bought once, and each bar can be purchased individually afterwards on a need to need basis. No unnecessary packaging, no unecessary waste.
